JSBEC Ltd is an engineering-led consultancy specialising in high-fidelity building performance modelling, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and advanced thermal simulation. We provide architects and developers with the technical depth required to de-risk complex projects and navigate evolving regulatory landscapes through academic-grade building physics. We move beyond basic compliance to achieve truly optimised performance for the built environment.

Our Work

We deliver specialised Dynamic Thermal Modelling (DTM) to verify design performance and secure regulatory approval. Our core project work focuses on Part O Overheating analysis (TM59/TM52), Part L compliance, and bespoke Thermal Bridging (Psi-value) calculations. By conducting detailed simulations at the design stage, we provide the empirical evidence necessary to refine building fabric and HVAC strategies.

Project Lifecycle

We integrate with the RIBA Plan of Work to provide technical depth across all critical stages. This includes early-stage simulation to de-risk concepts at Stage 2, formal Part O and Part L reporting for approval at Stage 3, and advanced CFD optimisation for high-performance delivery at Stage 4.
